Saeima attests Intars Bisters for the post of the judge of the Supreme Court

Saeima on February 18 has attested the present judge of Zemgale regional court Intars Bisters for the post of the judge of the Supreme Court. 77 parliamentarians voted for this decision, no parliamentarians were against, and 3 deputies abstained.
The judge Bisters was born in 1974. He got his degree and qualification of lawyer in Latvian Police Academy, and now he takes Master studies in a field of law in Business High School “Turiba”.
Intars Bisters has worked in judicial system since 1988. He was the judge of the court of Central district of Riga city, since 2007 he is a judge of the Judicial Panel of Civil Cases of Zemgales regional court.
The structural unit of the Supreme Court, in which Intars Bisters will execute his duties of the judge, will be defined by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
