The Network of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the EU
The Supreme Court of Latvia is a participant in the Network of the Supreme Judicial Courts of the European Union which was founded in 2004. General meeting of the participants or the General Assembly is convened once in two years. The goal of the Association is to promote exchange of views and experience regarding the court practice, organization and functions of the Supreme Courts, especially what relates to their actions in applying legislation in the law of the European Community.
The Association of the State Councils and Supreme Administrative Courts of the states of the EU
Since 2004, the Supreme Court of Latvia is also a member of the Association of the State Councils and Supreme Administrative Courts of the member states of the European Union. The goal of the Association is mutual exchange of information and consultations regarding the administrative procedure, arrangement of joint colloquiums once in two years, with interim researches which are interesting to the members, and training.
