Chancery of the Senate

The Chancery of the Senate is a structural unit of the Supreme Court which ensures uniform office work in the Departments of Civil Cases, Criminal Cases and Administrative Cases of the Senate.

The Chancery organizes and ensures the movement of the court cases filed with the Senate and the documents related to the court proceedings in the Departments of the Senate – registers the cases, verifies the incoming documents, prepares the cases for reviewing in the Departments of the Senate, sends notifications, prepares and sends the court cases after the proceedings, follows the observance of the terms for execution of the communication documents of the Senate. The data on the movement of cases are entered in the Court informative system (TIS) by the court secretaries.

Within its competence the Chancery prepares and gives answers to the applications and requests. The Chancery ensures release of the general information and the information of restricted accessibility, in the Chancery the participants of cases may examine the materials of cases and students – for training – with the rulings of the Senate.

The Chancery prepares and passes to the court archives the cases, copies of rulings and other documents of the Senate.

The work of the Chancery is planned and organized by the Head of the Chancery. The court secretaries of the Departments of the Senate, the secretaries of the court sessions and a technical secretary work in the Chancery.
