Augstākās tiesas Senāta Administratīvo lietu departaments šonedēļ atcēlis Administratīvās rajona tiesas lēmumu, ar kuru atteikts tiesā izskatīt žurnālista Lato Lapsas pieteikumu, kurā apstrīdēta Valsts prezidenta Valda Zatlera faktiskā rīcība, neatbildot uz žurnālista jautājumu, un lūgts uzlikt par pienākumu uz jautājumu atbildēt. Senāts nodevis jautājumu Administratīvajai rajona tiesai jaunai izskatīšanai.

Augstākās tiesas Krimināllietu tiesu palāta 8.decembrī pasludināja spriedumu krimināllietā Āra Audera apsūdzībā par krāpšanu lielā apmērā. Augstākās tiesas Krimināllietu tiesu palāta, izskatot lietu apelācijas sūdzības robežās, atcēla Rīgas apgabaltiesas Krimināllietu tiesu kolēģijas 2006.gada 10.marta spriedumu daļā par kaitējuma kompensācijas piedziņu vienam no cietušajiem, jo cietušais neuzturēja kaitējuma kompensācijas pieteikumu. Pārējā daļā pirmās instances tiesas spriedums atstāts negrozīts, proti, Ā. Auders atzīts par vainīgu par to, ka viņš atkārtoti izdarījis svešas mantas iegūšanu, ļaunprātīgi izmantojot uzticību un ar viltu (krāpšanu), lielā apmērā un sodīts ar naudas sodu simt piecdesmit minimālo mēnešalgu apmērā, proti, Ls 13 500, konfiscējot mantu. Kā arī ir piespriests piedzīt no Āra Audera kaitējuma kompensāciju 13 cietušajiem un apdrošināšanas sabiedrībai, kopsummā Ls 9 722,50.

On December 2, in procedure of cassation, in the extended composition of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate of the Supreme Court there had been reviewed cassation claim of National Fire and Life-saving Service (futher – NFLS) for decision of the Chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court (further – the Chamber of Civil Cases) of October 30, 2009 in case about the claim of Gunars Antans and Anita Antane against Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Latvia (further – MoI of RL) about recovery of moral harm in amount of LVL 1 000 000. The decision in case reviewed will be announced on December 16, at 9.25 a.m.

On December 2, in procedure of cassation, in the extended composition of the Department of Civil Cases of the Senate of the Supreme Court there had been reviewed ancillary complaint of the representative of the claimant Tamara Kudrjasova for decision of the Chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court (further – the Chamber of Civil Cases) of June 2, 2009, by which the litigation had been terminated in the case about the claim of Tamara Kudrjasova against „Pluss 22” Ltd., „Rigas 1.slimnica” Ltd., „Rigas Austrumu kliniskas universitates slimnica” Ltd. and public joint-stock company „Latvijas Juras medicinas centrs” for recovery of compensation and moral harm. The Department of Civil Cases of the Senate rejected the ancillary complaint submitted and left the contradicted decision of the Chamber of Civil Cases unchanged.
