On July 5, after reviewing the decision of the Judicial Disciplinary Committee of May 31, 2019, appealed by a district court judge, the Disciplinary Court upheld the decision, but dismissed the judge's complaint. The Judicial Disciplinary Committee imposed a disciplinary penalty on the judge – a reproof.

The decision of the Disciplinary Court shall not be subject to appeal.

The full decision of the Disciplinary Court will be available on July 12, when it will be published on the Supreme Court's website.

The Disciplinary Court is convened to review the lawfulness of decisions of the Judicial Disciplinary Committee appealed to the Supreme Court, to review the lawfulness of the negative opinions of the Judicial Qualification Committee appealed against, and to review appealed decisions made by the Prosecutor General on imposition of disciplinary punishment. The Disciplinary Court is composed of six judges from the departments of the Supreme Court.
