Today, on the 25th of October, Kalvis Torgans, the senator of the Supreme Court, Dr.hab.iur., lecturer of the UL reports about difference between responsibility of legal entity and civil legal responsibility of a public person, at the United 3rd World Congress of Latvian Scientists and 4th Letonica Congress “Science, Society and National Identity”.

Kalvis Torgans not only reports at the World Congress of Latvian Scientists, but also runs one of sessions in section “Politics and Law”. The session is named “Sustainable development of Law and Legal Practice”.

The United 3rd World Congress of Latvian Scientists and 4th Letonica Congress is organized by the Latvian Academy of Sciences, the University of Latvia, Riga Technical University and Riga Latvian Society in coordination with Ministry of Education and Science and Latvia’s universities and high schools. Three plenary sessions and 44 sections of different scientific branches operate during the congress. 1200 participants from 15 countries confirmed participation in congress.
