On Thursday, December 14, a Plenary Session of the Supreme Court will be convened, in which judges will elect the Chair of the Department of Administrative Cases.

The Chair of the Department of Administrative Cases should be re-elected, as a five-year term of office of the former Chair of the Department Veronika Krumina has expired. Veronika Krumina was elected Chair of the Department of Administrative Cases in 2007, re-elected in 2012.

In accordance with the Law "On Judicial Power", the chairs of the departments of the Supreme Court are elected in the Plenary Session of the Supreme Court, observing the principle of equal representation of genders. The term of office of the chairs of the departments of the Supreme Court is five years. There is no limit to how many terms one judge can fulfill the duties of the chair of the department.

The Plenary Session shall begin at 9.30 in the Room 461 of the Supreme Court. Plenary Sessions are open, but the Plenary Session or part of it may be declared closed.
