Three leading representatives of Moldovan system of justice visited the Supreme Court on the 13th of October to exchange experience.
Dmitriy Visterniceyan, the Chair of the Board of Judicial Magistrate (similar to our Board of Justice) and the judge of the Supreme Court of Moldova, Dina Rotarciya, the member of the Board and the judge of Chisinau Court of appeal and Jekaterina Buzu, the Head of Administration of the Board during study visit met Ivars Bickovics, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Both parties were mutually interested to exchange experience about organisation of work of the Board of Justice.
In her turn, Elina Kristopane, the Head of the Senate Chancery, introduced turnover of court cases documentation to the guests and the work of the Chancery.
Moldovan delegation also was acquainted with history of the Palace of Justice and visited historical Hall of the Senate.
Leading employees of Moldovan system of justice arrived to Latvia within the framework of development cooperation project to gain experience from Latvian judicial system. The project was created to support strengthening of Moldovan rule of law, democratic and administrative capacity in process of integration in European Union.
During this visit Moldovan representatives got acquainted with organisation of work of Latvian court system institutions and met officials of the Supreme Court, Riga regional court, Court administration and Latvian Judicial training Centre.
