Also in the autumn period, the Supreme Court messengers of the Constitution support the "Me, You and the Constitution" campaign, visiting schools and introducing students to the Constitution, its values ​​and importance in our everyday life, as well as talking about the judicial system and its role in a democratic country. In total, six messengers of the Constitution (three judges and three employees) will visit 11 schools.

The first meetings with students took place on October 13, when judge Lauma Paegļkalna visited Pumpuri Secondary School in Jūrmala and the adviser of the Judicial Council Secretariat Dace Šulmane met with eighth and ninth graders of Pūre Elementary School and Zante Elementary School. After the meeting with schoolchildren, Dace Šulmane noted that pupils had gained an insight into the path of the Latvian state until the adoption of the Constitution, as well as learned about the instruments for the existence of a legal state embedded in the Constitution. Interactive methods of speaking about personalities starting with Gunārs Astra to Greta Thunberg, as well as addressing events from the coup d'état of Kārlis Ulmans to the Baltic Way were used to illustrate cognition process. In the course of the conversation, the pupils expressed their interest in visiting Latvian towns and learn about Latvia's historical and national development in person.

Ten Supreme Court judges and three employees participated in the spring lecture cycle of the "Me, You and the Constitution" campaign. During the spring months, the Supreme Court messengers of the Constitution visited 18 schools throughout Latvia, meeting with schoolchildren and giving 20 lectures.

The educational campaign "Me, You and the Constitution" is being implemented by the Ministry of Justice in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science in order to strengthen youth understanding of democracy and its importance in our everyday life. The campaign shall take place in two stages - in the spring of 2022 starting from February 28, as well as in the autumn period starting from September 12. A total of 114 messengers of the Constitution – lawyers, who had applied for participation on a voluntary basis and are ready to provide their knowledge and experience to young people in order to contribute to a democratic society and a legal state in the future, participate in the campaign.
