On May 17 at 10.00, Mr Takis Tridimas, Professor of the EU law at the King’s College London, will give a guest lecture “The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the National Courts: Divided Loyalties?” at the Gold Hall of Riga Latvian Society.
The event is organized by the Latvian Law Institute in the framework of its program of guest lecturers. The event is supported by the Supreme Court, the Competition Council, the Council of Sworn Advocates, the Riga Latvian Society, the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia and the journal "Jurista Vārds".
Language of the lecture: English language without translation into Latvian, duration: ~2 hours and half an hour for the question and answer session.
