On Thursday, the 25th of April, forty students from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Italy visited the Supreme Court within project of Erasmus Intensive Programme implemented by the Business High School “Turiba”. With lectures, discussions and study visits, students master course on mediation in civil and criminal cases as a way of settlement of disputes in Europe.

Meeting Zane Petersone, the judge of the Chamber of Civil Cases of the Supreme Court, who is a member of the board of the Association of European Judges for Mediation, students got acquainted with procedure and essence of mediation, and the judge also mentioned particular examples.   

Students also visited the museum of the Supreme Court and historical Palace of Justice.
