In order to provide comprehensive up-to-date information about the Supreme Court and the Senate, a new edition of the book “Supreme Court / Senate of the Republic of Latvia” has been created and published.

The book tells about the place and role of the Supreme Court in the Latvian court system, about the management and structure of the Supreme Court, as well as the history of the Latvian Senate and the Supreme Court. The content is supplemented with rich illustrative material.

A book has been published in both Latvian and English – in two separate editions.

The Court will use the books as informative and representational material. They will be sent to law faculties of universities and the National Library. The book is available electronically on the website of the Supreme Court to anyone interested.
