On the 7th of May, twenty students of criminal law from the Netherlands visited the Supreme Court. Students represent AdInformandum – association of criminal law and criminology students.

Students arrived to Latvia to learn about Latvian justice system and peculiarities of criminal procedure.

Peteris Dzalbe, the Chair of the Department of Criminal Cases of the Senate, acquainted students with Latvian court instances, place and role of the Supreme Court in Latvian court system, work of the Department of Criminal Cases of the Senate and other specific issues related with courts.

Students also visited the museum of the Supreme Court and looked at the historical Palace of Justice.
