Due to the enhanced safety measures in the country to control the spread of Covid-19 infection, the Supreme Court completely suspends the reception of visitors until January 11. Documents will not be accepted in person either.

Documents can be submitted by e-mail at@at.gov.lv or sent by post – Brīvības bulvāris 36, Rīga, LV-1511, or submitted electronically using an account created on the unified state and municipal services portal www.latvija.lv. An application or a request for information may be left in a mailbox in the Court lobby.

On-site inspection of case files is not currently provided. Participants to proceedings can follow the progress of their case on the portal www.manas.tiesas.lv.

No oral court hearings are scheduled until January 11. Cases are examined in the written procedure.

In compliance with the requirements specified in the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers, court employees shall work remotely as often as possible during this time. Therefore, the most convenient way to contact the Supreme Court is to write an e-mail.
