More extensive and structured information, more convenient functionality and operative administration – these are acquisitions of users and developers of web site of the Supreme Court, launching new version of the web site, which is available publicly as from today.

All previous information accumulated since 2003, when first web site of the Supreme Court was developed, and since 2008, when next version of the web site was launched, has been kept on new homepage.

However, significant rearrangements and supplements were implemented on new web site, which were necessary due to extension of functions and workload of the Supreme Court.

More extensive and foreseeable availability of judicature of the Supreme Court will be one of the most important acquisitions for users of web site of the Supreme Court. Special Judicature section has been created on the web site, which includes rulings of the Senate containing judicature conclusions, compilations of court decisions and decisions of general meetings of Chairs of departments of the Senate and, particularly valuable classifier of rulings of the European Court of Human Rights, published.

In data base of judicature of the Senate, which has been developed since 2003, rulings have been arranged for each department in chronological order. Moreover, on home page of the web site information about latest rulings added to Judicature section has been displayed, and it will help the user not to miss news.

The second innovation to be taken on discount is special section of the Board of Justice, developed on the web site of the Supreme Court. It contains information about functions and composition of the Board of Justice, agendas of sittings of the Board of Justice, decisions adopted and regulations approved, and information and materials from Judges’ Conferences.

Also, observing the fact that the Disciplinary Court has been developed in composition of the Senate since 2010, both information on Disciplinary court and decisions adopted by that may be found on new web site.

In its turn, from the point of view of administration of new web site, important acquisition is functional coupling of a docket available on new web site with Court Information System, which provides an opportunity to export system data about cases being reviewed in the Supreme Court and their outcomes to the docket automatically. Previously, this data was added manually, and, observing the fact that there are more than 5000 cases under proceedings in the Supreme Court per annum, maintenance of the docket was significant work and time expenditure.

When creating new web site, previous content was supplemented and arranged in more structured way, and another upgrades were performed, which, as we hope, will be positively evaluated by visitors of our web site.
