The Juridical Committee of Saeima on February 11 accepted the draft law to be promoted to Saeima about attestation of the judge of Zemgales regional court Intars Bisters for the post of the judge of the Supreme Court.

Intars Bisters was born in 1974. He got his degree and qualification of lawyer in Latvian Police Academy, and now he takes Master studies in a field of law in Business High School “Turiba”.

Intars Bisters has worked in judicial system since 1988. He was the judge of the court of Central district of Riga city, since 2007 he is a judge of the Judicial Panel of Civil Cases of Zemgales regional court.

Positive resolution for promotion of Intars Bisters for the post of the judge of the Supreme Court has been given by Judicial Qualifications Committee.

Final decision is to be made by Saeima.
