Donations of judges and employees of the Supreme Court will be transferred to elementary boarding school in Rudzati

At the end of a year, charity campaign has become a tradition in the Supreme Court – raising donation for children, whose life is not easy. At the end of 2012, judges and employees of the court donated LVL 633, and they are transferred to elementary boarding training school in Rudzati.
84 children with special needs of age between 3 and 21 years live and study permanently in elementary boarding training school in Rudzati. In accordance to their training level, children have an opportunity to master elementary education, as well as two professional elementary education programmes – in joinery and catering services. Preschool group has been working in the school for a year as well.
Ten years ago, judges and employees of the Supreme Court also had presented different belongings useful for children to boarding training school in Rudzati, but money transferred this time would be useful for improving household conditions of children.
Charity campaign has been carried out in the Supreme Court for ten years already. Institution, to which money is transferred, has been chosen according to recommendation of Latvian Children’s Fund. Support of the Supreme Court in previous years was received by children’s home in Ergeme, children’s social rehabilitation centre “Musmajas” in Kraslava, children’s and families’ centre “Rukitis” in Saldus district, elementary boarding school of sanatorium type in Raiskums, family crisis centre in Zante and children’s and families’ support centre in Allazi.
